Different Flavors of All-On-X: Acrylic Hybrid over a Locator

We recently had an interesting case that wasn’t a typical restoration for us. In this case the doctor prescribed an acrylic hybrid over a locator denture.

The maxillary prosthesis is acrylic wrapped over a titanium bar that was placed on four Nobel active implants with multi unit abutments. While the mandibular prosthesis is a locator retained denture on four regular platform Nobel implants.

The pictures are of the wax-up just prior to sending the case out for the final try-in.
