A Mix of Old and New: Another All-On-X Hybrid Arch

This is a full Zirconia arch over two different types of implants. Three of the implants are BioHorizons and the other two are Straumann.

In this case the Straumann implants were in place supporting single unit crowns. Unfortunately, the rest of the patient’s upper dentition had started to fail over time and they elected to have an upper Zirconia hybrid. We were able to use the two existing Straumann implants by going straight to implant level on the one in the #5 area. We then placed an angled abutment on the implant in the #11 area. Finally, three more BioHorizons implants with angled abutments were added to complete the treatment.
